Certified or Licensed Technician

Seeking experienced, compassionate technician to assist veterinarian with in-house lab testing, treatments, examinations, surgeries, animal restraint, and preparation and dispensing of medications and monitoring medical inventories.  Under veterinary direction, the successful candidate will also perform therapeutic procedures by drawing blood, administering IV’s, removing sutures, dressing wounds, performing nail trims, anal gland expressions, dental procedures, vaccinations, and injections.  Strong emphasis is placed upon client education pertaining to our services and products which requires confident verbal and written communication skills.  We seek professionalism and flexibility to our patient and client needs.  Some light evening and weekend work will be required as well as bi-weekly “on call” emergency status. We are seeking an individual with veterinary computer software experience pertaining to exam room medical history entry, 50+ WPM keyboard skills and solid math capabilities.
