| Patient Arrival Policy:
We know your pet may be a little uneasy about new people and
animals. For everyone's safety and comfort, please restrain
your pet before coming into the hospital. We require all pets
be placed on a leash or in a pet carrier. Your pet and
everyone in the waiting room will appreciate the extra care you take
to promote safety. If you think your pet might have a
contagious disease, please call us first with the details. We
may ask that your pet wait outside until we have an exam room
available.
Although we make every effort
to ensure a relaxed visit for you and your pet, they may still feel a little
uneasy about new people, their surroundings and other pets. For your
safety and the safety of all others in our reception area, we require that
your pet be controlled and leashed of in an appropriate carrier. If
you do not have what we feel is a safe and appropriate leash or carrier, one
will gladly be loaned to you during your visit.
If you suspect that your pet
has a contagious disease, we will ask you and your pet remain outside our
reception area until our veterinary team can be of assistance. At that
time, they will usher you and your pet to an exam room as soon as possible
following our practice safety guidelines.
Appointment Policy:
Generally, we operate by
previously scheduled appointments, but emergency cases will always receive
top priority, and on occasion, appointment delays may occur. If we
suspect an extended delay, you will be give several options including
rescheduling your appointment, leaving you pet with us until the doctor is
